Playwright and novelist who spans several geres with his range of books, notable southern gothic and old western. His book 'The road' has been voted one of the best books in the past 10 years by the times, and several of his novels have been adapted to film, with another underway.


Irvine Welsh

best known for his novel trainspotting, his writings are surprising depictions of scottish life, even using local dialects in his work. most of his books explore the mundane harsh life of drug addicts, some books even sharing the same setting
